i-RED process spectrometers are the result of many years of research in the field
of development and application of optical spectroscopy for the monitoring of
industrial manufacturing processes.

Our development goal was to achieve the highest performance standards
and to optimize the long-term durability, robustness, compactness
and cost efficiency.

All systems are freely programmable with regard to the most complex
measuring processes and evaluation algorithms and can be integrated
into the system control via almost any industrial fieldbus.

FTNIR / FTIR process spectrometers

The i-RED FTIR and FTNIR process spectrometer technology combines the highest measurement and processing speed with an excellent signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for the highest accuracy requirements. The technology, which has been successfully used in industrial applications for more than 15 years, was recently equipped with completely redesigned electronics with more system resources and increased measurement accuracy.

The i-RED FTIR and FTNIR process spectrometer technology combines the highest measurement and processing speed with an excellent signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for the highest accuracy requirements. 	Maximum robustness through the use of a monolithic interferometer. Therefore, long-term stability and long-term durability without the need for adjustment.
	Maximum continuous operational stability through internal monitoring of system functions.
	Maintenance-free hardware thanks to semiconductor laser as reference laser.
	Real-time data processing; Chemometry (= automatic processing of the spectra) at the system level for maximum long-term durability and measuring speed; up to 80 spectra and quality statements per second.
	Integrated PLC functionality for the implementation of automated measurement processes.
	Industrial interfaces: CANopen for real-time data transmission, almost any other fieldbus via gateway (e.g. Profibus DP, Profinet, EtherCAT), OPC UA and Modbus TCP for integration into higher-level control systems

INLINE OIL ANALYZER

This mobile measuring station was developed for the analysis of engine oil on the engine test bench and uses a high-quality i-RED FTNIR process spectrometer to generate and evaluate the measurement data in real time. The system is connected to the engine oil sump via a temperature-stabilized bypass line and allows the acquisition of a wide range of target variables such as water content, fuel content (low boilers, FAME) and soot content.

	CAN bus connection to the higher-level control unit of the test bench.

RAMAN process spectrometer

This Raman process spectrometer offers everything for a seamless integration of Raman spectroscopy into industrial processes.

Maximum quality of the measurement data through the use of high-quality components are combined with the integrated approach typical for i-RED. All functions from laser control, spectrometer control and application of chemometric models to communication with a higher-level control and the implementation of complex automated processes are integrated at the system level. This eliminates the need for an external PC while maximizing long-term stability and system availability.

RAMAN PROCESS spectrometer

This Raman process spectrometer offers everything for a seamless integration of Raman spectroscopy into industrial processes.

Maximum quality of the measurement data through the use of high-quality components are combined with the integrated approach typical for i-RED. All functions from laser control, spectrometer control and application of chemometric models to communication with a higher-level control and the implementation of complex automated processes are integrated at the system level. This eliminates the need for an external PC while maximizing long-term stability and system availability.

With the help of our in-house developed Spectro-PLC electronics, any spectroscopic sensor modules can be upgraded to automated, freely programmable process spectrometer systems. Many available interfaces make it possible to automatically configure, control and read spectrometer modules. Several spectrometer modules can be controlled with a single electronic module. Fieldbus interfaces and OPC are available for communication with a wide variety of peripherals and higher-level process control systems.
